In 1994, Re-Pack was established to provide parts and service to the packaging industry. Expanding the company into the design and manufacturing of quality labeling systems provided a way to deliver a turnkey package to their customers. Their equipment was rugged and easy to operate.
Now Chatsworth Packaging continues the Re-Pack legacy with labeling applicators, labeling systems, print and apply labeling heads along with semi-automatic and table top designs.
Direct Apply, Tamp Apply or Blow On, Stand-Alone Stepper Driven Applicators
The Re-Pack Series 3 Labeling Head is our most versatile labeler. It is designed to function as a fully integrated part of a complete labeling system or to be used as a standalone device mounted on an independent floor stand. It is capable of applying labels up to 4” across at very high speeds over 24/7 operation.
The small size allows this labeling head to be mounted in spaces that would normally not accept labeling equipment such as under conveyors and inside enclosures. It can be equipped with a direct apply wipe-on applicator, a pneumatically driven tamp applicator or a tamp/blow applicator where zero contact with the product to be labeled is important.
The Re-Pack Series 3 is available with different drive packages and a variety of options. It can be equipped with a variety of different label coding systems so as to offer the ability to deliver complete product tracking security in the most demanding industries and regulatory environments.

Semi-Automatic Labeling
Re-Pack manufactures a wide variety of table top labeling machinery. This machine is perfectly suited for containers that have unusual shapes and may be difficult to handle. With standard features such as removable tamp pads and adjustable product fixtures, the tabletop tamp is versatile and easy to change over. The low purchase price and simple installation make this system an excellent choice for the budget minded customer or the first time buyer.

Semi-Automatic Labeling
Designed to apply front and back pressure sensitive labels to a wide variety of products. This includes round, oval, square, and unusual shaped containers. With the optional wrap station, full or partial wrap around labels may be applied. The “Accutrak”, front and back labeling system, utilizes a top stabilizer to capture and control the product during label applications. A host of options are available to include: Timing screws, Extended lengths and Motorized wipe down stations.
Standard features include: Series 4 microprocessor controlled, stepper driven applicators, including a speed following package with encoder and speed ratio adjustments; Stainless steel sided conveyor; Non-marring adjustable guide rails with “toolless” locking knob allowing for simple product changeovers; Integrated top stabilizer; Adjustable four axis head supports; Enclosed main electronics cabinet available in a variety of NEMA ratings.
With the optional variable-speed wrap station, full or partial wrap-around labels may be applied. Other available options include: Timing Screws, Dual Infeed Belt Aligners, Extended Lengths and Motorized Wipe-Down Stations, Complete Alarm and Inspection Packages with an Eject Station. Additionally, these Labeling Systems can be provided with Hot Stamp or Ink Jet Coding Systems for variable information printing.

Open Framed Labeling System
Labeling systems without conveyors are designed because many packaging operations already have conveyors in place. Such packaging operations may desire to add in-line labeling without incurring the cost and production interruption caused by having to “cut into” existing conveyors in order to install a traditional labeling system equipped with its own conveyor.
The opportunity to install an automated labeler on an existing conveyor has many advantages and can offer significant cost savings. Being able to roll a system on an independent stand up to an existing conveyor and quickly make the installation of such a system can fit many situations.
The indexing starwheel of this version of a labeler without a conveyor captures a container moving along the existing conveyor and rotates ¼ turn to the labeling station where the label is applied to that container. Once that application is complete the starwheel rotates again ¼ turn and returns the now labeled container to the exiting path of the existing conveyor.
The containers are labeled within the space already available on the current production line and without any change to existing equipment. Neat, quick and cost efficient! Let us help you investigate this possible solution if you think it could help your production.

Entry level offering that can be equipped with the majority of the options from our Open Frame Series of labelers
The Re-Pack Mini Series of labelers continues to evolve. We are now offering a Mini Panel System, which can be supplied with one or two labeling heads, to apply labels to the top or side panels of your packaging.
This labeler is an excellent option for new packaging companies that are moving from manual operation to the first steps of automated packaging. It can be used offline (hand fed, semi-automatically) or integrated with a production line in fully automatic operation.
The system is compact enough to be operated (loaded and unloaded) by a single operator for efficiency of personnel. Although the Mini Series of machines is an entry level offering, it can be equipped with the majority of the options from our fully integrated system labelers which include: specific feeding and spacing devices, alarm systems, date/lot coders, and inspection and reject stations.
If space, cost, or level of automation are current concerns to your growing company, let us show you how a Re-Pack Mini System can be of help in your company growth.

Apply labels to the top panel of flat products such as bags and boxes
The “Mini Top” is designed to apply pressure sensitive labels to the top panel of flat products such as bags and boxes. The applicator is integrated with a belted conveyor and mobile floor stand. While being competitively priced, the unit is well constructed with a small footprint and has many features that are found on full framed systems. This machine may be used as a stand alone device or integrated with a production line. The “Mini Top” is an excellent choice for limited volume production lines or start-up operations.

Loose Loop Print & Apply Labeling Systems
This family of labeling heads consist of our basic stepper driven applicator mated with a printer or print engine. We have experience integrating most brands of printing devices. There are many advantages to using a loose loop print and apply applicator. First, you are able to run both pre-printed and blank labels on the same system simply by bypassing the printer when pre-printed labels are in use. Also, the loose loop style of system allows for a faster application rate. This is achieved by printing and applying the label separately. Re-Pack Series 5 applicators are available with either a DIRECT APPLY, TAMP APPLY, or BLOW-ON application device. A full compliment of options are available that include mounting stands, alarm packages, and multi-panel labeling devices.
This labeling head is an excellent choice when integrating with feeding systems. The photo shown is of a Series 5 applicator with a Sato print engine. A turnkey package was built for the customer. The complete system included, a case feeder, transport system, two (2) labeling heads (one front and one back) and a restacking unit.
The Series 5 applicator provides excellent flexibility. In this particular application, the customer uses our printer applicator to print labels on blank stock as well as, add bar code information to pre-printed labels. The bar code information is sent to the printer batch by batch, allowing the customer to change product and label information without stopping the system.
The small size and weight of the Series 5 give it great mobility. The applicator shown is moved to different production lines within the customers plant and used as needed.
