What is a “Transport System”?
Ink jet printers, by the very nature of their design, require that the item to be printed or marked must move by the printer location in order to properly create the printed image or characters of the code.
If coding is being done on an automated bottle filling line the bottles are most likely moving along, in an organized single file, down a conveyor. As each bottle passes the printer location it can be jetted with the appropriate code. But what about items that are not neatly organized on an already moving conveyor?
